On the weekend I attended the Emerging Writers Festival Digital Writers Conference. One of the highlights of the conference was a video presentation from Christy Dena. It was one of my favourite sections. Christy’s seven things she wished she’d known at the start of her digital writing career.
1. Ignore Fear based advice.
2. Draft early.

4. What do you need personally to advance in your writing.
5. Develop a thick skin.
6. Peers are not necessarily your creative audience.
